Darrell L. Nelson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell L. Nelson of Creston, Iowa, who passed away on May 22, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Handley and Maurine Nelson (McKinney); his sister Marilyn Nelson; his uncle Paul McKinney; his aunts, LaDene Brown and Letha Noehren; and his nieces, Shannon Billheimer and Vicki Decker.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sandi Tucker (Wayne) of Lorimor, Iowa, Doris Jackson (Bobby) of Lorimor and Norma Decker (David) of Adair, Iowa.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lorimor Church of God (612 2nd St, Lorimor, IA 50149). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Lorimor Cemetery (3204 130th St, Lorimor, IA 50149).
