He was predeceased by: his parents, George Spencer and Eythelyn Latfeg; and his siblings, Harold Spencer (Joane), Jerry Spencer and Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Spencer of Creston; his children, David McKinney (Tammy) of Lorimor, Terry McKinney (Jennie) of Creston, Cory McKinney of Creston and Tina McKinney (Wade) of Wathena, KS; his siblings, Bill Spencer of Winterset, Gary Spencer (Donna) of Winterset, Marlene Saxton (Joe) of Winterset, Kathy Trump (Walter) of Lake and Delores Losee (Tom) of Winterset; and his sister-in-law Linda Spencer of Winterset. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Creston (601 New York Ave, Creston, IA 50801).
