It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Eugene Gowey of Creston, Iowa, born in Lenox, Iowa, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Gowey and Ruth Gowey (Boham). He is survived by: his former wife Mary Leuenberger; his children, Mike, Tyla, Shelly and Todd Dougherty (Becky) of Sac City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Ona Mae, Rachel, Haley and Toby; his daughter Amy Brenizer of St. Joseph, Missouri; his granddaughters, Sara and Dianna; his son Andrew Ferguson; and his siblings, Robert Gowey and Patricia Gowey. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorials may be given in his name.
