He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Eugene Ray and Gladys Maxine Ray (Jones); his siblings, Don, Eldon Ray, Shirley Ray, Pat Marquardt and Kay Johannes; his former wife Ina Ray; his siblings-in-law, Bernard Johannes, Bob Medill, Cindy Ray and Jerry Ray; and his nieces and nephews, Eric Ray, Jay, Bernie Johannes, Melody Ray and Jeanice Neal (Gary).
He is survived by: his former wife Ina Ruth (Bressler); his children, Jamie Ray (Arlene) of Oskaloosa, Kan, Rodney, David Ray (Gwen) of Ft. Leavenworth, John Ray (Michelle) of Leavenworth, Lori Rosch (Brian) of Creston, Shelley Sheriff (Alan) and Roxanne Young (Brian) of Osceola; and his siblings, Joan Medill of Eugene, Ore. and Richard Ray of Creston. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren.
