With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jan Frink of Creston, Iowa, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jan Frink to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. L. "Slim" Gossard and Letta "Belle" Gossard (Hess); her husband Donald E. Frink; her children-in-law, Linda Frink and Rod Abell; her grandchildren, Liz Lewis and Charlie Abell (Desiree); and her stepgranddaughter Jennifer Babcock.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Frink of Treynor and Nancy Abell (Larry Dudley) of Orient, Iowa; her grandchildren, Don Frink, Andy Frink, Brett Frink (Maxine), Hidie (Tom Waters), Adam Abell (Tonya), Amanda Woods and Briana Eaves (James); and her sister Elaine Butler of Denver. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Powers Funeral Home - Creston (601 New York Ave, Creston, IA 50801).
