She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Lonnecker and Olive Lonnecker (Watson); her husband Eldon G. Sobotka (Bud); and her son Scott Kendall Sobotka. She is survived by : her daughters, Rev. Cynthia Ripperger of Creston and Anne Vicker (Randy) of Creston; her grandchildren, Sarah Miller (Mark) of Hinsdale, Clint Vicker (Amber) of Creston and Scott Vicker of Creston; her great grandchildren, Cade Vicker (Abby Raney), Corbyn Vicker, Madeline Miller and Henry Miller; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Belle Davis and George Hollinger. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Creston or the Creston Animal Rescue Effort.
