He was predeceased by: his father James Herbert Abell; and his brother Michael Duane Abell. He is survived by: his mother Mary Lou Abell (Berg) of Creston; his sisters, Kathleen Kay Abell of Lenox and Denise Lynn Redding (Tom) of Creston; his nephews, Eric Herzberg (Tara) of Grand River and Ryan Van Pelt (Kaleigh) of Nebraska City, NE.; and his great-nephews, Cyrus Herzberg and Warrick Van Pelt.
In lieu of flowers memorials are to the family so they can distribute them to his desired charities.
