He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard and Evelyn Linch (Fletcher); and his sister Patty Fisher. He is survived by: his son John Richard (Deb); his wife Linda; his son Mike (Raquel); his grandchildren, Emily Hackbarth (Zack), Jacob Linch (Carrie), Lydia Carlson (Ben), Dylan Linch and Brittany Linch; his great grandchild Charlie Hackbarth; and his sister Cindy McKinny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center - Creston (809 W Montgomery St, Creston, IA 50801). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (307 N Benton St, Brighton, IA 52540).
