He is survived by: his children, Steve Downing (Karen) and Brenda Thompson (Gary); his grandchildren, Ashley Hommer (Derek), Myles Thompson (Skylar), Kysa Woods (Josh), Chisum Downing (Katelyn Clariday) and Heath Downing; his great grandchildren, Kynlee Hommer, Letti Mae Thompson and Maren Thompson; his sister-in-law Sharen Downing; his sister Shirley; his brother-in-law Max McDermott; his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Berniece Downing; his sister Mildred; his brother-in-law Earl Woods; his nephew Sammy Woods; his brother Donny Downing; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Conard and Helen Conard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
