He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Post and Kate Post (Van Oort); his siblings, Harvey Post, LeRoy Post, Gladys Prins, Jeanne Olhausen, Irma Jacobsma and Beverly Post; and his great great grandchildren, Jayla McGhee and Ziaire Edwards.
He is survived by: his significant other Evelyn of Sanborn; his children, Gordon Lee Post (Beverley) of Creston, Iris "Jeanie" Post (Roger Scholten) of Des Moines and Linda "Lou" Swalley of Lenexa, Kansas; his sister Glenda Schroeder; and his sisters-in-law, Penny Post and Charlotte Vierhout. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
