She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Everett Westlake and Ruth Westlake (Conley); her husband Merlin Jack Scadden; her in-laws, Joe and Eugenia Scadden; her daughter Debra Scadden; her daughter-in-law Jackie Scadden; her brother James Westlake; and her siblings-in-law, Marvin, Melvin Scadden, Beverly Scadden and Mary Schuldt (Lane).
She is survived by: her children, Jack Scadden (Catherine) of Urbandale, Kevin Scadden of Creston and Brenda Scadden Baird (Tom) of Creston; her son-in-law Jack Rettig of Ft. Lauderdale; her grandchildren, Evin Scadden (Ann Hinton) of Creston, Kaytlynn Bennett (Cory) of Lenox, Quinton Scadden of Creston, Dustin Baird (Sam) of Creston, Tara Kendrick and Lauren Rettig (Rachel) of New Orleans; her great grandchildren, Beckett, Oaklynn Bennett, Ryder, Reid Baird, Carter, Collin Kendrick, Robin Rettig-Lee, Alibi and Chasin Luther; her sisters-in-law, Martha Adams of Stanberry, Marge Miller of Des Moines and Nadine Scadden of Creston; and her pet Honey Jr..
