It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Baze of Creston, Iowa, born in Chariton, Iowa, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph Baze and Geneva Nell Baze (Ryan); and his brothers, Fred Baze (Fern) and Dick Baze (Prudy). He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Baze (Johnson) of Creston; his children, Debra Beauvias of Independence, Janelle Mitchell of Independence, Kelly Baze of Creston and Barbara Williams (Jeff) of Independence; his siblings, Gary Baze (Joey) of Illinois and JoAnn Putnum of North Dakota; and his grandchildren, Nathan Padilla, Jason Ford, Rebecca Larocco, Rachel Larocco, William Comer, Terri Williams, Sara Williams, Christy Hyde, Joseph Gaiser, Sandra Baze and Chad Gaiser. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
