He is survived by: his sons, Jeff McKinney of Kent and Scott McKinney (Jeanna) of Afton; his siblings, Gary McKinney (Marcia) of McKinney, Dan McKinney (Sharon) of Orient and Gale W. McKinney, II (Audra) of Fort Dodge, IA; his grandchildren, Jessica McKinney of Omaha, Neb. and Mackenzie McKinney (Kevin Workman) of Des Moines; and his great grandchild Athena Workman.
