We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2022, at the age of 97, Leone Purdum (Creston, Iowa) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leone Purdum to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sammons and Nellie Sammons (Johnson); her husband Clifford Purdum; and her siblings, Keith Sammons (Norma) and Shirlee Sammons Kiley.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Chapman (Mike), Cyndy Jeffryes (Curt) of Ankeny, Curtis Purdum of Ankeny and Tracy Purdum (Carla) of Norwalk. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and spouses and 19 great- grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cromwell United Church of Christ &/or the Greater Regional Hospice House.
