She was predeceased by: her parents, Harland Russell Mintle and Mary Lou Mintle (Rinard); her daughter Angela; her brother Bill Mintle; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Lamb; and her sister-in-law Kathy Tapken.

She is survived by: her husband Kirk McCann of Creston; her children, Kelly Schultz (Scott) of Creston, Douglas Lamb of Diagonal, David Lamb (Heidi) of Diagonal, Linda Hopper (David) of Lakeview and Shane McCann (Brenda) of Des Moines; her sister Donna Courtney of Altoona; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Mintle of Des Moines, John Tapken of Creston and Mike McCann of Austin. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
