It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Makayla Burgmaier of Creston, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Linda Ann Burgmaier (Green); and her grandparents, Dwight Green, Ernest and Vivian Burgmaier. She is survived by: her father Glenn David Burgmaier (Tammy) of Creston; her brother Dakota Burgmaier (Cheyenne Parsons) of Creston; her half-siblings, Brandon Garner, Roger Garner of Creston, Derek Fluckey (Amber) of Afton and Brandi Atkins (Tony) of Creston; her stepsiblings, Heidi Brown of Creston and Cody Hudson (Sarah); her grandmother Pat Green of Osceola; her stepgrandparents, Margaret Burgmaier of Winterset and Ed Hanson of Creston; and her aunts and uncles, Bonnie Olson of Rio, WI, Carla Couchman (Jerry) of Weldon, Julie LaFollette (Sandy Heidemann) of Clive, Lonnie Burgmaier (Diane) of Creston, Don Burgmaier of Des Moines and Gayle Burgmaier (Beth) of Creston. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews and extended family.
