With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn E. Lacina of Creston, Iowa, born in Red Oak, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Bruce and Helen Bruce (Chipps); her husband James Lacina; her siblings, Robert Bruce and Betty Ann Blair; and her close friends, Helen Bryson and Mardale Paxton.
She is survived by : her children, Denise Lacina of Ankeny, Mark Lacina (Kathy) of Afton, Todd Lacina (Marla) of Afton, Brent Lacina (Debby) of Shannon City and Blyth Lacina (Vince) of Adel; her brother Charles Bruce of Bloomington, IL; her grandchildren, Nichole Hanson (Heath), Chance Lacina (Farah), Brooke Wehrman (Kyle), Steven De Meyer, Phil De Meyer, Blake Lacina, Amber Lacina, Chris and Ronald Gilbert; her great grandchildren, Holden Hanson, Kai Lacina, Alexzandria, Ava Gilbert, Teyla, Chloe Wehrman, Jack, Bryan and Madelline De Meyer; and her close friends, Cheri Lily and Shirley Dudney. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
