Marlene leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marlene’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Edward Pridgen and Lois Hope Pridgen (Dennis); and her brother Edward Pridgen. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Stretch" Mullin of Creston; her children, Jason Mullin (Lori) of Marion and Christine Waters (James) of Des Moines; and her grandchildren, Adreanna Rodda, Caelyn Mullin and Brayden Mullin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (601 New York Ave, Creston, IA 50801). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
