Mike E. Turner Obituary

We announce the death of Mike E. Turner of Creston, Iowa, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 74. Mike will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Mike will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Mike will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Mike’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his father Cleve Edwin Turner; his brothers, David and Danny Turner; and his children, Kelly Turner and Brad Turner.

He is survived by: his mother Ruby Jean Turner (Geary) of Creston; his children, Chris Turner (Cara) of Creston and Michelle Laird of Creston; his stepson Brian Ford (Brittany) of Creston; and his sister Chris Wyatt of California. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
