It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Hawkinson of Creston, Iowa, who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Jacob and Florence Lucille Camden (Shafer); her brothers, Jim and Jack; her brother-in-law Reed; her children, Joanny, Cheri and Gary; and her granddaughters, Amber and Anita.
She is survived by: her sisters, Joan Helm, Judy Browning (Bill) and Joyce Probasco; her children, Ronnie Camden (Norma), Alleen Sue Armstrong (Douglas), Cindy Saucedo (Raul) and Susan Dungan (Craig); and her daughter-in-law Velma.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the North Fairview Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed towards the family to be established in Opal's memory.
