He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Blanchard and Lucille Blanchard (Johnson); and his sister Connie Viether. He is survived by: his close friend Carol Roberts; his girlfriend Carol Roberts of Creston; his sons, Chad and Chris Blanchard; and his stepdaughters, Aleacha Crocker (Randy) and Lois Buchanan (William). He is also survived by his step-grandchildren and numerous family members.
