He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert "Hub" Edwards and Irene Edwards (Pratt); his in-laws, Darrell and Pearl Moore; his daughter Roxanne Edwards; his stepdaughter Colleen Smith; and his stepgrandson Jade Perez.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Edwards of Creston, Iowa; his son Jamie Moffit (Amy) of Irving, Texas; his grandchildren, Tristen, Grayson Moffit, Cashton, Colton Weeks and Charley Weeks; his stepdaughter Raeleen Smith Martinez of Creston, Iowa; his stepgranddaughter Angie Hartman (family: Brandy Sick, Haley Schlapia); and his sister Caroline Schueman of Des Moines. He is also survived by many other step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Graceland Cemetery - Creston (1844 S Cherry Street Rd, Creston, IA 50801).
