He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Herbert and Jessie Elizabeth Abell (Dorsey); his wife Irene Eleanor Perkerwicz; his brothers, Joe, Jim, Jackie, Fred and Rod Abell; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Jorgenson and Catherine Nystul.
He is survived by : his children, Danny Abell (Patty) of Greenfield, Iowa, Paula Bates (Darrell) of Fontanelle, Iowa and Michelle Snyder of Creston, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Shawna, Kayla, Briley, Tyler and Massie; his great grandchild Drey; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Abell of Cromwell, Iowa, Mary Abell of Creston, Iowa, Phyllis Abell of Colorado, Mary Jorgenson of Minnesota and Nancy Abell of Creston, Iowa..
