It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore Ide of Creston, Iowa, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Theodore Ide to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John W. Ide and Helen Donelson Ide; his wife Dawn Carlson; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by : his children, Todd Ide (Diane), Laura Hartman (Jerry), John Edward Ide (Lauren) and Michael Ide (Tracie); his grandchildren, Ian Ide, Theo Hartman (Grace), Savannah Suhre (Harrison), Olivia Cutler (Grayson), Eli Hartman, Megan, Ben, Connor, Emma Ide, Truman and Sadie Ide; his great grandchild Adelaide; and his brother William Joseph Ide (Bill). He is also survived by good friends and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Crest Baptist Church (1211 North Poplar Street, Creston, IA 50801).

Memorials may be given to the Mayflower Heritage Christian School or to the Union County Fair.
