It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tim Shelley of Creston, Iowa, born in Guthrie Center, Iowa, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ronald Leroy Shelley and Beverly Ann Shelley (Peckham); and his former life partner Debbie Shelley. He is survived by : his wife Tammy Shelley of Creston; his children, Cara Duncan (George) of Ankeny, Michael Shelley (Savannah Lee) of Nevada, Shaun Shelley (Jennifer) of Greenfield, Erin Houseton (Travis) of Council Bluffs and Megan Allen of Council Bluffs; his sister Diana Curtis (Dan) of Creston; and his grandchildren, Ainsley Houseton, Edward Truitt, Aliyah Shelley and Arthur Duncan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.

“I worked with Tim for many years when I was at Wellman. He was a good worker and provided a lot of good information to the engineering team that allowed us to solve problems. I also enjoyed his banter and his sarcastic wit. He will be missed by many.”
