It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Twila Joy Carter of Creston, Iowa, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo G. Feurt and Myrtle R. Feurt (Brannon); her husband Jake; her sons, Randall and Roger; her parents-in-law, Elbert and Daisy Carter; and her pet Chip.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Carter (Michelle Mostek) and Rob Carter (Angel Orr); her daughters-in-law, Kathleen Marckmann and Kathy McIntosh-Carter; her grandchildren, Jared (Jess), Tyler (Sarah), Chelsea (Danny), Brooke, Whitney (Brandon), CJ (Matthew) and Ashton; her siblings, Janis Hibbs (Cliff) and Cleo Feurt (Paula); her siblings-in-law, Hazel, Wanda and Elbert Carter (Reva); her nephew Greg; and her niece Marjorie Steel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
