He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lens and Agatha Lens (Underberg); his wife Jill Ehrhardt; his siblings, Edward Lens, Raymond Lens, Leonard Lens, Robert Lens, LaVonne Lupkes, Margaret and Charles Lens; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Lens, Karen Lens and Janie Albers.
He is survived by: his children, Jessica Lens of Creston Ia, Ryan Lens (Alicia) of Red Wing, Minn and Nathan Lens of Creston; his grandchildren, Austin Sweeney of Red Wing, Bryson Lens of Red Wing, Minn and Jayson Lens of Creston; his siblings, Jim Lens (Colleen) of Burlington Ia, Alice Moeller (Gerry), John Lens of Seaside Calif and David Lens of Grand Junction; and his brother-in-law William Lupkes. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
