He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Louis and Myrtle Josephine Whetzell (Valentine); his former wife Vicki; and his siblings, John Whetzell, Grady Autry, Iris Runyon and Janice DeMeo.
He is survived by: his children, Amelia Pence (David Piccrillo) of Olathe, Kanas, Dawn Marshall (Michael) of Olathe, Kansas, Rebecca Whetzell (Mark Hoffman) of Creston and Josh Whetzell (April Clark) of Creston; his stepmother Eileen Whetzell of Pittsburgh, Kansas; and his siblings, John Autry of Kansas City, Kansas, Karen Young of Pittsburgh and Teresa England (Joe) of Arma, Kansas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
