With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally Baumann of Cumberland, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sally departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sally may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sally leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Stark (Gary) of Brayton, Kristal Feese of Cumberland, Troy Hardisty (Tracey) of Cumberland, Tony Hardisty (Angie) of Corning, Jeremy Hardisty (Teresa) of Cumberland and Darrin Hardisty (Tiffany) of Cumberland; and her stepchildren, Charlie Baumann (Christine) of Elkhorn and Michelle Ackerman of Foley, Alabama. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Community Building (200 W 2nd St, Cumberland, IA 50843). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM and at 5:00 PM.
Memorials: May be made to the Sally Baumann Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
