He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph King and Helen King (Delles) of Cumming; his daughter Jennifer; his brother Tom; and his pet Blue.
He is survived by: his wife Rena; his children, Julie Fitzgerald (Jamie), Jeff King (Brenda), Sara King Cole (Scott Cole), Kari Faust (Jason Reyerson), Dan King (Sara) and Jill Versteeg (Todd); his grandchildren, Ryan Harter (Emily), Elizabeth Moreno (Gabriel), Natalie Harter, Ashley Fitzgerald (Nathan Williams), Jessica Perkins, Emma King, Violet, Sam Cole, Kathryn Criswell (Landon), Gretchen Faust (Drake Karnes), Paul, Charlie, Gus King, Joseph and Nora Versteeg; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Leo Harter, Henry Criswell, Matteo and Alana Moreno; his siblings, Robert (Janice), Mary Moore, Ruth Wilson, John (Cheryl) and Helen Sabol (Norm); and his in-laws, Carol King, Clare Neff, Lucille Morinelli, Earl Seymour, Richard Harkin (Ricky), Dona Harkin and Linda Harkin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Veterans in Agriculture, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Cumming American Legion Post 562, or to a local food pantry.
