He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Rees and Leota Bell Rees; and his grandfather Max. He is survived by: his wife Carol (CA); and his daughter Julie Kae Goering (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dallas Center United Methodist Church (1504 Walnut St, Dallas Center, IA 50063). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and other customary remembrances, memorial contributions can be directed to Dallas Center United Methodist Church, or American Legion Post 158 in Earlham, Iowa.
