James MacConnell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James MacConnell of Dallas Center, Iowa, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James MacConnell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene MacConnell and Alice Maren MacConnell (Seabolt); and his daughter Dianne Kathryn MacConnell. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn MacConnell (Peters); his son Stuart Alexander MacConnell (Darla); his grandchildren, Macy Grannes-Bell (Daniel) and Logan; his daughter Maren Sanders (Denny); his grandchildren, Jonathon, Athena and Alex Merath; and his brothers-in-law, James Peters (Theresa), Thomas Peters (Sandy) and Jerry Peters (Martha). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Hope (305 NE Dartmoor Dr, Waukee, IA 50263). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Lutheran Church of Hope, Waukee, Memorial Garden.
