She was predeceased by: her parents, James Curran and Anna Curran (Gill); her husband Peter Fitzpatrick; her in-laws, Charlie and Marie Fitzpatrick; her sisters-in-law, Mary Fitzpatrick and Ann Fitzpatrick; and her niece Susan "Susie" Cathleen Sackett.
She is survived by: her children, Maurna Johnson (Joel), Mollie Murano (Tim), P. C. Fitzpatrick (Deb) of Chicago, IL and Matt Fitzpatrick (Darlene) of Danbury, IA; her grandchildren, Charlie, Anna Johnson, Megan, Dan Murano, Norah, Anderson, Gunnar Fitzpatrick, Molly and J. T. Fitzpatrick; and her siblings, Michael Curran (Judy) of Elk Point, SD and Patty Sackett (Dave) of Grants Pass, OR. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
Memorials in Kathleen's name may be made to the Danbury Catholic School in Danbury, Iowa.
