She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Sneden and Alice Marie Griffiths Sneden. She is survived by: her husband James B. MacBeth; her children, Lynn MacBeth of Pittsburgh, Sandra MacBeth of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, Bruce MacBeth (Kim) of Claysville and Andrew MacBeth (Angela) of Eighty Four, Pennsylvania; and her brothers, Chris Sneden (Gail) of Austin, Michael Sneden (Laurie) of St. Louis and Al Sneden (Daryll) of Richmond, Virginia.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for HJ Nugen Library in New London.
