He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" J. Stellern (Brenda) of West Burlington, Rick B. Stellern (Cindy) of Wapello and Kelly A. Stellern of Danville, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nick Stellern (Kiara), Ali Wachter (Andy), Forestt Stellern (Regan), Tori Stellern (Cody Stice) and Dakota Stellern (Kloey Edwards); and his sister Sally Calvin.
A memorial has been established for the Danville Fire Department.
