He was predeceased by : his father Maurice R. Helt; and his parents-in-law, John and Joyce Miltenberger. He is survived by : his mother Nancy "Kay" Davis Helt of West Burlington; his wife Janice Helt of Danville; his daughter Liberty Taeger (Andrew) of West Burlington; his grandchildren, Karlie Taeger and Howard Taeger; and his siblings, Dee Ann Schnieder (Mike) of Evansville, Chuck Helt (Carol) of Burlington and Gary Helt of Burlington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
