She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Henry Edgar "Hank" (Scott) and Elna Jane Tompkins (Rostenbach) of Washington; her former life partner Scott Knapp; her children, Clinton Knapp of Delaware, OH, Emily Laue (Harley) of Lake Oswego and Andrew Knapp of Danville; her siblings, Dan Tompkins (Becky) of Storm Lake, IA, Jane Tompkins (Chris McKenna) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Bruce Tompkins of Marion, IA; and her granddaughters, Ellie and Trixie Laue.
