He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil R. Johnson and Patricia M. Schaefer Johnson; his wife Diana "Dee" Ruth McCabe; and his brother Van Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Michael Johnson of Austin, Joshua Johnson (Brandi) of Burlington, Michelle Warth (Troy) of St. James and Johanna Hand of Clarksville, Tennessee; and his siblings, Terry Johnson of Bible Grove, Harry Johnson of Downing, Missouri and Sharon Cornwell (Neil) of Winfield, Iowa. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
