He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Earl Gehrke and Esther Fangman (Trenkamp). He is survived by: his parents, Merlin Gehrke and Diane Gehrke (Fangman) of Davenport; his brother Hans Keimig-Gehrke (Bailey) of Dubuque; and his grandparents, Dorothy Gehrke of Roseau, Francis and Janet Fangman (Busch) of Dubuque. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established.
