He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Miller and Jean P. Miller; his children, Michael, Mark and Michelle; his brother Steven; his grandson Aaron Lindell; and his great grandchild Kyler Haglund.

He is survived by: his wife Melinda Lou Stamos; his daughters, Pamela Lindell (Tim), Diane Petersen (Craig) and Kimber Monty (Dave); his grandchildren, Jacob Lindell (Sherry), Alyson Haglund (Ryan), Jessyca Butler (Brandon), AJ Petersen (Sarah), Jacen Petersen (Drew) and Alexys Heston (Scott); and his great grandchildren, Adyson, Kamdyn Haglund, Colton, Sadie, Alec Lindell, Sawyer Petersen and Landen Butler.
