We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2025, Bob Connelly of Davenport, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bob farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bob is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his cousin Msgr; his parents, Thomas Connelly and Ruth Connelly (Marti); his wife Barbara Jean Klein; his sister Sue Connelly; his niece Audrey Roca; and his close friends, Tony Crowley and Gary Ewert of Davenport.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Holy Family Catholic Church (1923 Fillmore St, Davenport, IA 52804). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Calendar Mt. Calvary Cemetery (804 E 39th St, Davenport, IA 52807).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humility Homes and Services or Scott County Humane Society.
