He is survived by: his wife Dora Maldonado; his children, Angel Vargas (Amy), Marco Vargas (Marisa) and Sara Seiler (Kevin); his grandchildren, Anthony, Dominic, Kaleb, Lex, Lincoln, Natalia, Annaliese, Rebeka, Caralynn, Havilah, Amelia and Wilhem; and his sister Nora.
