It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn E. Walter in Davenport, Iowa, born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Tieskotter and Marge Tieskotter; and her husband Bill Walter. She is survived by: her daughters, Traci Latham of Ankeny, IA and Kelli Day (Darrin) of Walcott, IA; her grandchildren, Taylor Elaine Latham of Ankeny, IA, Emma Elaine Day of Walcott, IA and Trista Maylene Day of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her siblings, Shirley Usgaard of Kansas City, MO, Marsha Hoffman (Jim) of Polk City, IA and Bill Tieskotter (Barb) of Decorah, Iowa.. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren.
