He was predeceased by: his daughter Rachel; his parents, Dennis "Denny" Owens and Evelyn Owens (Sonksen); his brother Gerald; Jared Womack.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Holder; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Mickey Owens; his grandchildren, Christian, Mallory, Alex and Carter; his sisters, Vyrel Owens-Carr (Kevin) and Linda Hawker (Chris); and his nephews, Jeremy Womack (Lindsey), Justin Womack (Erin) and Joshua Womack (Leanne Robb).
Memorials may be made to Empower House, a brain injury Clubhouse co-founded by his daughter-in-law, Mickey.
