Christopher Berdell left this world on June 5, 2025 at the age of 51, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Flamous Ray Hunter; his sister Raytasha Weathers; his grandparents, George Weathers, Shirley Mae Weathers, George Fletcher Hunter and Flora Hunter; and his niece Amia Weathers.
He is survived by: his son Michael Goethals; his grandson Cameron Goethals of Aurora, IL; his siblings, Stephanie Weathers of Fort Worth, TX and Careem Hunter of East Moline, IL.; and his close friend Jolene Rodriguez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (1501 6th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family.
