She is survived by: her children, Kirk (Kathy), Mark (Linda Miller) and Kim. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

“To Mark, Kirk, and Kim, and Aunt Darlene’s grandchildren and great grandchildren, We are so sorry to hear of her passing, and sorry for your loss of her. And yet we know she is in a much better place and at peace. I have good memories of her over the years, especially during my childhood when she went to Iowa State teacher’s College , and became a school teacher. 😊She was the best teacher, and also fun to be with in my youth, so full of life and love for Sharon and I . I loved her very much!”
