Dave Hebbeln Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dave Hebbeln of Davenport, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hebbeln and Marie Hebbeln (Doner); his former wife Sandra Nelson; his brother Dennis; and his sons, David Carl and Patrick John.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Schiffke; and his daughters, Lori Butterbrodt and Lecia Remley. He is also survived by six granddaughters; three great granddaughters and a great grandson.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (2618 Boies Ave, Davenport, IA 52802).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or the Scott County Humane Society.
