He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Delores and Phil Blodgett; his grandparents, Paul Nesahkluah Jay, Sr. and Juanita Jay; his great-aunt Peggy Alatorre; his aunt Tracy Blodgett Butler; his uncle Justin Nesahkluah; and his cousins, Rodney Alatorre and Steven Hernandez III.
He is survived by: his parents, Lynette Hernandez and David Alan Jay, Sr.; his wife Sarah "Sadie" Sproule; his son Lucas Jay; his siblings, Thomas Hernandez and Paige King (Thomas); his nephew Victor; his grandparents, Mary, Larry Hernandez and Dawn Jay; his cousin Michael Hernandez; and his half-sisters, Peta, Jayce and Erica Jay. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
