Mooney; his daughters, Nancy Britton of Davenport, Maryruth Britton of Davenport, Cassie Essex of Davenport and Kayla Britton of Southaven, MS; his stepchildren, Scotty Essex of Davenport, Jessica Jackson of Davenport and Wendy Young of Cordova, TN; and his siblings, Diane Bysinger of Milan, Mary Christner of Barlow, FL, Damaris Britton, Jenkins of Tennessee, Lisa Ballard of Tennessee and Lyle Ballard of Burlington, IA.
