It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Edwin Taylor of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Taylor and Loretta Eller; his wife Mildred L. Proffitt; and his sister Wilma. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Meinert (Mark), Deborah Taylor and Dean Taylor Jr. (Lori); his grandchildren, Sarah Hayman (Matt), Luke Meinert (Gina), Thomas Taylor (Jess), Andrew Taylor (Elizabeth) and Brandon Daley; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Tyler Hayman, Avery Taylor, Kai, Ila Meinert, Theo and Cal Taylor; and his sister Mary Alice Ripple (Harold).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Genesis Hospice or Silvercrest Garner, Davenport.
